
At Storyman, we pour passion into every sports filming project, but our partnership with Men in Blazers stands out. Our journey began in 2018, when we were fledglings looking to make our mark. The project that ignited our collaboration was a travel series for VisitBritain, showcasing Premier League experiences across the UK. With Men in Blazers’ popular U.S. soccer show on NBC, they were the perfect fit.
Together, we created an unforgettable broadcast and digital campaign, as the Men in Blazers team ventured across London, uncovering hidden football stories and characters with passion, humour, and discovery.
The success of that first season led to a second, focused on Liverpool and Manchester.
Fast forward to today, Men in Blazers has become North America’s top soccer media network, and we’re proud to remain part of their journey.
Our latest collaboration, This Week in Wrexham, dives into the meteoric rise of Wrexham AFC. With the club’s massive buzz, Men in Blazers partnered with Wrexham’s stadium sponsor, SToK Cold Brew Coffee, to bring the town, team, and fans to life in a weekly documentary series.
For this project, we were honoured to be chosen as the sports video production partner. In a bold move, we decided to shoot the entire series on iPhones, emphasizing authenticity and intimacy in our storytelling. The result - a raw, fan-first perspective that connects deeply with the community – truly reflects the quality and passion we invest in every Men in Blazers project.
